Our school is a member of Black Belt Schools of America. This system teaches the fundamentals of the Martial Arts by combining the time-tested Eastern philosophy of Martial Arts with the modern approach of Western teaching strategies. We offer a well-balanced program that emphasizes pride, self-esteem, fitness and integritty. We teach a combination of Tae Kwon Do ( Korean Martial Arts), Judo and Hapkido.   Instructor Profile Mrs. Evon Thornton began her training in 1992, and is currently a second Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwan Do. Mrs. Thornton also trains in Haedong Gumdo (Korean Swords). She has been a substitute teacher for the Kent County School Board for two years. Mrs. Thornton also conducts seminars for various schools and women's groups.   Classes We encourage learning and honing new skills; therefore, a wide variety of classes are provided for our students.
